Product Introduction

The buckling pin valve, also known as a rupture pin valve, buckling pin relief valve, or bursting pin valve, is a non-reclosing pressure relief safety device. As a revolutionary pressure relief solution, it can replace traditional rupture discs in various applications, delivering better performance and effectively handling complex operating conditions that are difficult for conventional equipment to manage.

BasCo has independently developed and patented buckling pin valve technology. It has successfully addressed various severe operating challenges worldwide and has been tested by the market for more than ten years, earning high recognition from customers for its performance and quality.

Since 2008, Jiangsu Bafang has been promoting this revolutionary pressure relief valve product under the BasCo brand. In 2014, the company participated in drafting the industry standard for buckling pin valves. BasCo buckling pin valves are designed in accordance with international and domestic standards such as JB/T 14254-2022, API 520, and ASME BPVC Section XIII-2021, and have obtained certifications including EAC, NB, and SIL.

While maintaining strict requirements for raw materials, we prove product performance through testing.

In rigorous in-house factory testing, each buckling pin must pass an extreme challenge: it is subjected to 95% of the set pressure for 9 consecutive cycles, and then buckles precisely on the 10th loading. Each test fully demonstrates:

• Fatigue resistance and no premature instability: stable even after repeated pressure loading close to the set point;

• Accurate bursting precision: buckling occurs precisely at the set pressure value;

• Highly consistent performance: every buckling pin is trustworthy.
